Groupe à la réputation sulfureuse ( Le leader Jon Notveidt a purgé une peine de prison pour complicité de meurtre sur un individu homosexuel d'origine Maghrébine ), Dissection n'en reste pas moins le leader de la scène Black Suédoise et le retour en force du combo en 2006 ne remet pas cette réputation en cause. La chanson Starless Aeon est une preuve que le Black Metal se mélange très bien avec le Rock et la chanson est largement écoutable (si si si je vous jure).
Si vous aimez pas, je ne vous saoulerais pas avec un nouvel album : Jon Notveidt s'est suicidé en 2006 dans un rituel très satanique ;)
